Last revised on 05 Nov This preparation guide specifies Graduate School requirements pertaining to style, organization, and formatting for electronic theses and dissertations. Students should become familiar with this guide at the time they begin the first draft of their thesis or dissertation. Students are encouraged to use publications within their discipline i. In addition, academic departments may have additional formatting requirements or may require use of a specific style manual other than a refereed journal.
